We are offering a range of scholarships for 2012 supported by the University and generous donors who share our pride in student achievement.

There are 75 scholarships in the University of Bath International Scholarships Scheme (UoBISS) each worth £3,000 for international fee-paying taught masters applicants from any country and for any subject area.

Most scholarships can be applied for using the online scholarships application form, however some require a direct application to the faculty. Please check the details of each scholarship below for information on how to apply.

Eligibility
All the scholarships are for international fee-paying applicants for full-time taught masters degrees (MA/MSc/MBA).

Some scholarships are open to applicants from all countries for all subjects but many are limited to students who live in a particular area of the world or who plan to study for a particular subject. Please read the descriptions carefully to see which scholarships are open to you.

When you enter the online scholarships application form it will highlight which scholarships you are eligible for. If you do not wish to apply for a particular scholarship you can unselect it at this stage.

Please note that MRes applicants are not eligible for these scholarships and should email [email protected] for further guidance on funding.
Scholarship amounts

The scholarships range from £2,000 to £5,300 depending on the type of scholarship. Each is awarded as a discount in tuition fees and is for one year only. Scholarships cannot be deferred to a later year.

How to apply
– Before applying you need to formally accept an offer from us. The offer can be unconditional or conditional.
– Once you have accepted your offer you need to complete the application form and send it to us before noon on 29 June 2012.
– Please note that we do not award scholarships in order of application so (for example) if you apply on 1st February or 29 June your chances are exactly the same. We do not look at all the applications until after the closing date.
