]]> ทุน ASEAN Scholarships for Thailand
ASEAN Scholarships เป็นทุนจากกระทรวงศึกษาธิการที่มอบทุนต่อเนื่องอย่างทุกปี เพื่อให้โอกาสนักเรียนจากอาเซียนได้เข้ามาศึกษาในประเทศสิงคโปร์ ซึ่งมีทุน 2 ประเภท สำหรับประเทศไทย ทุนนี้แบ่งให้เข้าสอบเพื่อเรียนต่อ 2 ระดับชั้นคือ เรียนต่อ Secondary 3 และ Pre University One (ม.5) รายละเอียด ดังนี้

ระดับ Secondary 3

เป็นทุนให้เปล่า 4 ปี เข้าเรียนชั้น Secondary 3-4 แล้วสอบ GCE O-level และต่อ Junior College อีก 2 ปี แล้วจึงสอบ GCE A-Level เพื่อเอาผลไปยื่นเข้ามหาวิทยาลัยต่อไป

เปิดรับสมัคร 18 มี.ค. 2564 – 16 พ.ค. 2564

สอบทราบผลเดือน กรกฎาคม 2564

เมื่อได้รับคัดเลือกจะเดินทางไปประเทศสิงคโปร์ปลายเดือน ธันวาคม 2564

คุณสมบัติผู้สมัครระดับ Secondary 3 (ผู้สมัครต้องเรียนจบหรืออยู่ระหว่างการเรียน ม.2 แล้ว)

  • ถือสัญชาติไทย
  • เกิดในช่วงปี ค.ศ. 2005 – 2007 ( พ.ศ. 2548 – 2550)
  • มีเกรดเฉลี่ยในระดับ ม. 1 และ ม. 2 หรือ ระดับ ม. 2 และ ม.3 ไม่ต่ำกว่า 3.00 (ใช้ผลปลายภาคของทั้งสองชั้นปี)
  • มีผลการเรียนดีอย่างต่อเนื่อง
  • มีทักษะภาษาอังกฤษดี และมีประวัติการทำกิจกรรมอื่นๆ นอกห้องเรียน

สิ่งที่จะได้รับจากทุน

1) ค่าใช้รายปีและจัดหาที่พักพร้อมดูแลค่าใช้จ่ายให้
2) ค่าตั้งตัวช่วงปีแรก ( ให้ครั้งเดียว)
3) ค่าตั๋วเครื่องบินไปกลับ ชั้น economy

ระดับ Pre-U One

เป็นทุนให้เปล่า 2 ปี เข้าเรียนชั้น Junior College 1-2 (เทียบประมาณ ม. 5-6) แล้วจึงสอบ GCE A-Level เพื่อเอาผลไปยื่นเข้ามหาวิทยาลัยต่อไป

เอกสารหลักๆ ที่ต้องเตรียม เพื่อประกอบการสมัคร

  • สำเนาบัตรประชาชน / หนังสือเดินทาง (ที่มีข้อมูลผู้สมัครเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ)
  • สำเนาผลการเรียน ( transcript) เป็นภาษาอังกฤษ (แจ้งทางโรงเรียนให้ออกให้ได้)
  • สำเนาสูติบัตรผู้สมัครฉบับภาษาไทย และฉบับแปลภาษาอังกฤษ (กรณีมีเปลี่ยนชื่อน้อง คุณพ่อ,คุณแม่ และทำให้ชื่อไม่ตรงกับสูติบัตร รบกวนแปลเอกสารการเปลี่ยนชื่อทุกฉบับที่เกี่ยวข้อง)
    เนื่องจากเป็นเอกสารสำหรับสมัครสอบทางการ จึงแนะนำให้แปลโดยสถานกงสุล กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ หรือโดยทนายที่ได้รับอนุญาตให้รับรองสำนวนการแปล (สอบถามเรื่องการแปลโดยทนายได้กับ PREPTITUDE)

ASEAN Scholarship for Thailand

These ASEAN scholarships are for students from Thailand joining Secondary 3 or Pre-university 1 in selected Singapore secondary schools or junior colleges. Find out if you are eligible and how to apply.

MOE offers scholarships to bright young students from ASEAN countries and China to study in Singapore. We partner various organisations to administer these scholarships.

Students will have opportunities to broaden their horizons and develop important skills such as leadership, communication and other life skills. They can also help to promote goodwill and understanding among young people from different countries and Singapore.

Who is eligible

Thailand nationals who:

  • Are proficient in English
  • Have done consistently well in school examinations
  • Have a good record of participation in co-curricular activities

Types of scholarships

Type of scholarship Year of birth Results required Duration of scholarship
Secondary 3 2005 to 2007 Mathayom 1 and 2, or Mathayom 2 and 3 with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3 and above in your final year results. 4 years

Each scholarship leads to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level certificate, or similar qualification.

The scholarship is renewed each year based on the scholar’s performance in school.

In line with our vision to be The Leading ASEAN Franchise, CIMB Group is committed towards building the region’s intellectual properties and capabilities. With this in mind, CIMB Group has established the CIMB Regional Scholarship, which aims to provide outstanding individuals from all ASEAN countries a chance to pursue full-time postgraduate degree programmes at top graduate schools throughout the world.

For this purpose, CIMB Group seeks highly talented individuals who have attained an impressive track record of academic and personal achievements and can see themselves playing a significant role in the development of the ASEAN region.

This year, we are seeking to award five scholarships to deserving individuals in two areas: Genetics and Nutrition studies.

HOW TO APPLY
1.Download the application form and complete all sections of it.
2. Email the completed form to regionalscholarship@cimb.com before the closing date, 8 July 2012.
Important information regarding submission of your application

  1. We do not allow the application form to be modified in any manner. Application forms which are modified will not be accepted.
  2. Do not attach any documents to the email other than the completed application form. We do not require certifications, commendation letters or other documents at this stage.
  3. Please submit your application only once.
  4. Please browse through the sample completed application form before you submit your application.

ELIGIBILITY & SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE
To apply for the CIMB Regional Scholarship, you must:

  • Be a citizen of any ASEAN country.
  • Have gained unconditional acceptance at a top graduate school to pursue a postgraduate degree programme in genetics or nutrition. The offer must remain valid when the CIMB Regional Scholarship is awarded.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00 or equivalent (for Master’s Degree applicants), or a Master’s Degree with a good examiner’s report or equivalent (for Doctoral Degree applicants) that is relevant to the course or field applied.
  • Not hold any other scholarships, awards or grants that come with any contractual obligation on your part.

Relevant work experience, where applicable, is an added advantage.
The CIMB Regional Scholarship is a full scholarship award covering all academic fees including registration, tuition and examination fees, a book allowance, as well as other expenses such as accommodation, airfare, travel documents and other related expenses.
