กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ร่วมกับ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเกาหลีประจำประเทศไทย ขอเชิญชวนผู้สนใจ ส่งผลงานเข้าประกวดแข่งขัน ออกแบบตราสัญลักษณ์ ภายใต้หัวข้อ “๖๐ ปี ความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย – สาธารณรัฐเกาหลี (60 Years of the Kingdom of Thailand – Republic of Korea Friendship) ” การจัดการประกวดแข่งขันออกแบบตราสัญลักษณ์ในครั้งนี้ จัดขึ้นเนื่องในโอกาสที่ไทยและสาธารณรัฐเกาหลีจะฉลองครบรอบ ๖๐ ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตในปี ๒๕๖๑ และเพื่อกระชับความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างสองประเทศ

ผู้ชนะการประกวดการแข่งขันฯ จะได้รับรางวัลเป็นตั๋วเครื่องบินชั้นประหยัด ไป – กลับ กรุงเทพฯ – โซล – กรุงเทพ หรือ โซล – กรุงเทพฯ – โซล

Raffles International College ได้จัด “Mascot Costume Design Contest 2012” ซึ่งเป็นการประกวดออกแบบชุดมาสคอตชิงทุนการศึกษาและรางวัลอื่นๆ มากมาย มูลค่ากว่า 2,000,000 บาท โดยเปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย อายุตั้งแต่ 15 – 18 ปีบริบูรณ์ (ม. 4-6 หรือเทียบเท่า) ส่งผลงานเข้าประกวดเพื่อชิงรางวัลทุนการศึกษาสำหรับศึกษาต่อที่ Raffles International College และรางวัลอื่นๆ เช่น The New iPad, iPod และบัตรกำนัลอื่นๆ อีกมากมาย

การประกวดในครั้งนี้นับเป็นโอกาสอันดีสำหรับนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ที่กำลังมองหาทุนการศึกษามูลค่าเต็มสำหรับศึกษาต่อระดับปริญญาตรีทางด้านการออกแบบหรือธุรกิจอย่างจริงจัง สำหรับผลงานออกแบบที่ได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศ จะได้นำมาผลิตเป็นชุดมาสคอตสำหรับสวมใส่จริง และผลงานที่เข้ารอบสุดท้ายทั้งหมดจะได้นำไปจัดแสดงยังหอแสดงงานศิลปะให้ประชาชนทั่วไปเข้าชมอีกด้วย นักเรียนที่สนใจส่งผลงานเข้าร่วมประกวด ได้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 ตุลาคม  – 28 ธันวาคม 2555

บริษัท อินโดรามา เวนเจอร์ส จำกัด (มหาชน) จัดโครงการประกวด RECO Young Designer Competition 2012 โดยมีแนวคิดของการประกวดคือการนำวัสดุที่ผลิตจากโพลีเอสเตอร์ หรือ PET ตลอดจนการนำวัสดุเหลือใช้มาออกแบบให้เกิดประโยชน์และพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม (Eco Friendly Product Design)

โดยมุ่งหวังให้เยาวชนไทยที่ศึกษาอยู่ในระดับอุดมศึกษาหรือในสถาบันด้านการออกแบบ นักออกแบบอิสระ และประชาชนทั่วไป ได้มีความคิดริเริ่มสร้างสรรค์ในการออกแบบที่ใส่ใจสิ่งแวดล้อม และสนับสนุนให้ใช้ความคิดริเริ่มสร้างสรรค์ในการนำวัสดุที่เหลือใช้มาออกแบบ โดยแบ่งการประกวดออกเป็น 2 ประเภท ได้แก่ การออกแบบเสื้อผ้าและเครื่องประดับ(Fashion and Accessories Design) และ การออกแบบเฟอร์นิเจอร์ (Furniture Design)

หลักเกณฑ์การสมัคร & คุณสมบัติผู้เข้าประกวด :
อายุระหว่าง 17 – 30 ปี
กำลังสึกษาในระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย หรือ ระดับปวช. หรือ
กำลังศึกษาในระดับอุดมศึกษา หรือ ระดับ ปวส. หรือ
กำลังศึกษาในสถาบันที่มีการเรียนการสอนหลักสูตรด้านการออกแบบ หรือ
นักออกแบบอิสระหรือประชาชนทั่วไป
ผู้เข้าประกวดต้องไม่ประกอบอาชีพที่เกี่ยวข้องกับอุตสาหกรรมสิ่งทอ เครื่องนุ่งห่มและเครื่องประดับ หรืออุตสาหกรรมเฟอร์นิเจอร์
