ทุนการศึกษาโดยไม่มีข้อผูกพันโดยรัฐบาลไทย

สถาบันเทคโนโลยีแห่งเอเชีย (เอไอที) ซึ่งเป็นสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษานานาชาติที่ตั้งอยู่ในประเทศไทย กำลังเปิดรับสมัครนักศึกษาไทย ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติ เพื่อขอรับทุนอุดหนุนการศึกษาของรัฐบาลไทย (RTG FELLOWSHIP) เข้าศึกษาต่อในระดับปริญญาโทและปริญญาเอก ในทุกหลักสูตรของสำนักวิชา วิศวกรรมศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี สำนักวิชาสิ่งแวดล้อมทรัพยากรและการพัฒนา และสำนักวิทยาการการจัดการ โดยไม่มีข้อผูกมัดใดๆ

ในขณะนี้ ประเทศไทยตั้งเป้าที่จะขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจโดยอาศัยความรู้และนวัตกรรม เพื่อก้าวสู่ Thailand 4.0 ปัจจัยสำคัญในความสำเร็จของโมเดลนี้ คือ การสร้าง ประชากรไทย 4.0 (Thai Citizen 4.0) หมายความว่า ประชากรไทยทุกคนตัองได้รับโอกาสในการพัฒนาให้เต็มศักยภาพของตนเอง เพื่อร่วมเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนประเทศสู่ Thailand 4.0 เพื่อรองรับการเปิดประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน (AEC) รัฐบาลไทยได้เล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญในการสร้างวิศวกร. นักวิทยาศาสตร์ และผู้บริหารมืออาชีพ ให้มีความพร้อมทั้งในด้านวิชาการ. และการสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษ เพื่อให้สามารถแข่งขันกับนักวิชาชีพเดียวกันจากประเทศอื่นๆ. และเป็นกำลังขับเคลื่อนที่สำคัญของประเทศไทยในสังคมที่ไร้พรมแดนของโลกต่อไปในอนาคต

สถาบันเอไอที จึงขอเชิญ ผู้ที่จบปริญญาตรีแล้ว เข้ารับทุนอุดหนุนจากรัฐบาลไทย (RTG Fellowships) เพื่อเข้าศึกษาระดับปริญญาโท หรือ เอก เพื่อพัฒนาตนเองให้เป็น ประชากรไทย 4.0 (Thai Citizen 4.0)

มูลค่าทุน สูงสุด 100% ครอบคลุมค่าใช้จ่ายตลอดระยะเวลาการศึกษาซึ่งเป็นจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 4 ภาคการศึกษา (ยังมีทุนประเภทอื่น เช่น ทุน 75% หรือทุน 50%)

คุณสมบัติผู้สมัครขอรับทุน

1. มีสัญชาติไทย
2. มีผลคะแนนสอบภาษาอังกฤษ ตามที่เอไอทีกำาหนด
3. จบปริญญาตรีหลักสูตร 4 ปี จากมหาวิทยาลัยที่ได้รับการยอมรับ
4. สำหรับผู้สมัครขอรับทุนเรียนในหลักสูตรปริญญาโทบริหารธุรกิจ ต้องมีประสบการณ์การทำงานในด้านที่เกี่ยวข้องกับหลักสูตรอย่างน้อย 1 ปี

รัฐบาลญี่ปุ่น มอบทุนปริญญาเอก เพื่อศึกษาในสาขาวิชา Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems ใน of the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Asian Institute of Technology จากกล่มประเทศ 3 กลุ่ม ดังนี้
