สำนักงาน ก.พ. เปิดรับสมัครสอบแข่งขันและคัดเลือกบุคคลทั่วไปเพื่อรับทุนรัฐบาลฯ ประจำปี 2563 (ทุนบุคคลทั่วไประดับปริญญาโทขึ้นไป) จำนวน 5 ประเภททุน รวมกว่า 307 ทุน
มีทั้งหมด 5 ประเภททุน

1. ทุนรัฐบาลตามความต้องการของส่วนราชการ หรือหน่วยงานของรัฐ ประจำปี 2563(ทุนบุคคลทั่วไประดับปริญญา) มีจำนวน 68 หน่วยทุน รวม 69 ทุน

2. ทุนรัฐบาลทางด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ที่จัดสรรให้กระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม ตามความต้องการของกระทรวง กรม หรือหน่วยงานของรัฐ ประจำปี 2563 (ทุนบุคคลทั่วไประดับปริญญา) มีจำนวน 204 หน่วยทุน รวม 205 ทุน

3. ทุนสนับสนุนความต้องการส่วนราชการในภูมิภาค (Area-based) ประจำปี 2563 (ทุนบุคคลทั่วไประดับปริญญา) มีจำนวน 3 หน่วยทุน รวม 3 ทุน

4. ทุนรัฐบาลไปศึกษาในสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ประจำปี 2563 (ทุนบุคคลทั่วไประดับปริญญา) มีจำนวน 1 หน่วยทุน รวม 5 ทุน

5. ทุนธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย ประจำปี 2563 (ทุนบุคคลทั่วไประดับปริญญา) มีจำนวน 13 หน่วยทุน รวม 25 ทุน
