นายอาจอำพล อิษวาส กรรมการต่างประเทศ ชมรมพัฒนากอล์ฟไทย แจ้งข้อมูลมาว่า โค้ชกอล์ฟจากมหาวิทยาลัยในประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา Madonna University ตั้งอยู่ที่ Livonia, Michigan (MI) มีความประสงค์จะรับนักกอล์ฟเยาวชนไทยเข้าศึกษาที่มหาวิทยาลัย 100% Scholarship 2 ทุนการศึกษาจะต้องจบมัธยมศึกษ 6 หรือเกรด 12 มีผลสอบ SAT และ TOEFL อยู่ในเกณฑ์รับได้ เริ่มการศึกษาสัปดาห์แรก ของเดือนสิงหาคม 2018

Madonna University แม้จะไม่ใช่อยู่ในระดับ NCAA แต่เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยระดับกลางๆ ที่ให้การสนับสนุนกีฬากอล์ฟ นักกอล์ฟที่ได้รับทุนการศึกษา ยังมีโอกาสเล่นกีฬากอล์ฟที่ตนชื่นชอบ ประหยัดเงินให้แก่ผู้ปกครองหลายล้านบาท

มหาวิทยาลัยธุรกิจบัณฑิตย์ เปิดรับสมัครนักศึกษาใหม่ประจำปีการศึกษา 2559 ประเภทนักศึกษาทุนกีฬา  ประเภทกีฬาที่เปิดรับสมัคร ได้แก่ ฟุตบอล (ชาย), เปตอง, ฟุตซอล (ชาย), บาสเกตบอล (ชาย-หญิง), วอลเลย์บอล (ชาย-หญิง), ยูโด, เทควันโด, คาราเต้-โด, ดาบไทย, หมากกระดาน, ว่ายน้ำ โดยเปิดรับสมัครตั้งแต่บัดนี้ ถึง 5 กุมภาพันธ์ 2559 และจะมีการสอบคัดเลือกในวันเสาร์ที่ 6 และวันอาทิตย์ที่ 14 กุมภาพันธ์ 2559 ตั้งแต่เวลา 08.30-16.30 น. ณ ศูนย์กีฬา มหาวิทยาลัยธุรกิจบัณฑิตย์
